Edwardian 1.00 Carat Old Cut Diamond & Natural Pearl Crossover Ring, circa 1910

A pearl and diamond by-pass ring of exceptional style and quality. The old European cut diamond - conservatively estimated to weigh 1.00 carat - is bright, internally very clean and displays the subtlest champagne hue. The diamond is secured in an eight-claw platinum coronet collet and sits across from a natural (not cultured) saltwater pearl which demonstrates a fine white lustre. Ten (five each side) rose cut diamonds are set in the platinum shoulders leading to a slim 18k yellow gold shank.
