Vintage 0.30 Carat Brilliant Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1960

A stunner of a Mid Century diamond solitaire engagement ring. The bright, white and internally clean round brilliant cut diamond in the centre is illusion set in platinum. The diamond and its setting are secured in an eight claw coronet collet, leading to beautifully shaped 18k yellow gold shoulders to a D-shaped shank.
