Vintage 4.25 Carat Unheated Ceylon Star Sapphire Ring, circa 1950

A high class vintage solitaire ring featuring an unheated star sapphire from Ceylon. The sapphire holds a light, greyish blue background colour and displays a strong and clear asterism. Rubover set in 18k yellow gold, and leading to a slender 18k yellow gold shank which tapers at the shoulders. 

Currently size N (UK) or 6 1/2 (US). Free sizing available.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from WGI, stating the sapphire is unheated and originates from Sri Lanka (Ceylon).
