Art Deco 1.03 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1920

A stunningly pretty antique engagement ring. The old cut diamond - graded by HRD as H colour, SI1 clarity - in the centre is white, bright and virtually glowing. The centre stone is secured an eight-claw collet above scalloped back-plate setting, with fine piercing and engraving in the gallery, leading to diamond set V-shaped shoulders to a flat band. This is about as lovely as it gets.
