Art Deco 3.89 Carat Burmese Sapphire & Diamond Cluster Ring, Circa 1925

A frankly awesome unheated Burmese sapphire ring. The sapphire in the centre of the absolute finest quality - a rich, vivid blue which holds an almost otherworldly glow. The stone is rubover set in yellow gold and surrounded by 16 rose cut diamonds in a fine, hand-pierced coronet setting. On a slim and simple gold shank. A truly beautiful and important ring.

Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating,and is Burmese (Myanmar) in origin.
