Charles de Temple Abstract 18k Gold & Turquoise Brooch, dated 1969

A beautiful brooch by Charles de Temple, one of the most innovative and influential jewellery designers of the 1960s and 70s. This magnificent abstract piece is crafted in 18k white and yellow gold, and punctuated by five round turquoise stones of varying size. 

Charles de Temple famously designed the ring in the James Bond film Goldfinger (1965), and was at the vanguard of the modernist jewellery movement in the mid- to late- twentieth century.

With hallmarks from the London Assay office, and date marks inducting 1969.
