Mid Century 10.87 Carat Natural Ceylon Sapphire & Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1965

A show-stopping vintage sapphire and diamond ring. The centre stone - graded by SSEF as natural, unheated and originating from Ceylon - displays a striking and richly saturated blue. The sapphire is secured by four 18k yellow gold split claws and is surrounded by twelve round brilliant and two baguette cut diamonds in a wire gallery. Triple wire shoulders lead to a slim, grooved white gold shank. A serious, and seriously lovely, piece of jewellery.

Accompanied by a Gemstone report from the Swiss Gemmological Institute (SSEF) stating the sapphire shows no indications of heating, and is Ceylon (Sri Lanka) in origin.
