Art Deco 1.45 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1940

A wonderfully pretty vintage engagement ring. The old European cut diamond in the centre - gauged at weighting just under one and a half carat - is bright, internally clean and full of fire. The stone is secured in an eight claw open collet, allowing maximum light to pass through the stone. The finely vented shoulders are set with six (three each side) rose cut diamonds, leading to a slim 18k white gold shank.
