Art Deco 7.10 Carat Ceylon Sapphire & 1.08 Carat Old Cut Diamond Trilogy Ring, circa 1940

An important Ceylon sapphire and old cut diamond ring. The cushion cut sapphire in the centre - certified as natural, unheated or originating from Ceylon (Sri Lanka) displays a bright cornflower blue. The centre is an eight-claw platinum coronet collet and is flanked on either side by a pair of high quality old mine cut diamonds, each weighing over half a carat, in four-claw platinum collets, leading to a slim and tapering 18k white gold shank. Unique, utterly individual and very, very beautiful.

Currently size J (UK) or 4 5/8 (US). Free sizing available.

Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.
