Art Deco 4.93 Carat Ceylon Sapphire & Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1940

A spectacular unheated sapphire and diamond ring. The centre stone - certified and natural, unheated and originating from Ceylon (Sri Lanka) - is a bright, sky blue. The stone is secured in platinum and surrounded by fourteen old mine cut diamonds in individual scalloped settings. Decorative scroll detailing in the gallery leads to a slender platinum shank.

Currently size L 1/2 (UK) or 5 7/8 (US). Free sizing available.

Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.
